Storm Acquire Chase Anderson

Friday, January 6, 2017

Goaltender Chase Anderson has been acquired by the Campbell River Storm in a three player, three team deal that came together in the late hours of January 5th.

The 19 year old, from Victoria, played 48 games with the Kerry Park Islanders, since his debut as an AP in 2014, holding a .903 career save percentage. His only appearance in Campbell River this season was a 3-1 loss on October 14th where he was sensational stopping 43 of 46 shots and earning game star honours.

Going to Kerry Park is ’98 Goalie Matt Henwood from the Storm and Josh Poland from Peninsula. The complicated deal also includes future considerations from Campbell River to both the Islanders and Panthers.
